1951 Volkswagen Bug Type 1

This manual has been Repaired

The cover had come loose by having the staples pull though the cover

The Repair:

• Someone back in the day had repaired this manual poorly 
• they used scotch tape and extra staples to rebind the manual.
• the tape had turned brown and acid burned the cover

• The Old scotch tape was removed.
• All the staples were removed ( Original staples were not present )

• The cover inside spine was reinforced with archival acid free rice paper was used.
•  the manual was rebound utilizing Original staple holes and new correct size staples.
